Ralf-Peter Oelsner has been back from Ukraine for more than a week. It was the 17th transport of aid supplies to a country that was invaded by Russia and forced into war. But what the doctor from Bleckede saw, experienced and learned this time “still occupies and moves me. You can’t suppress that”. Olesner spent almost two weeks on the road – in Vinnytsia, in the flood zone near Kherson, but also in Kramatorsk, near the front line at Bachmut.
